The Excel V laser was designed, tested, and manufactured by Cutera, the world’s leading company in laser devices and technology. The Excel V laser was designed after working collaboratively with world-renowned professors, physicians, cosmetic doctors, and surgeons.

Excel V treats more than 30 aesthetic and dermatologic skin concerns including rosacea, facial and leg veins, and age/brown spots. This also includes acne scars with little to no limit on the patient’s Fitzpatrick.

Excel V utilises a high-performance dual-wave length laser providing a faster, more efficient clearing of targeted lesions safely. It is especially effective for conditions including rosacea, diffuse redness, and telangiectasias.

Patients will feel minimal discomfort during any procedure as Cutera’s Excel V has a sapphire cooling tip that allows for cooling of the exact area that is being treated. It also allows for pre, parallel, and post-pulse cooling, for a safer and more comfortable treatment. This also has reduced risk to the skin, with the treatment being as comfortable as possible compared to other laser devices on the market. Most people describe it as the feel of a rubber band being flicked onto the skin.

You will be given goggles to wear to protect your eyes during the treatment. Excel V Laser treatment uses a green power laser to absorb the blood vessels or imperfections that are being treated. The laser heats them up until the imperfection is removed or has reached a clinical endpoint. This procedure is delivered through a handpiece that is applied directly onto the skin.
